Terms & Conditions – Course Bookings

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings for courses, workshops, and events (“Courses”) offered by [Your Business Name] (“we,” “us,” “our”). By booking a Course, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1. Your place is confirmed once we have received full payment (or a deposit, where applicable) and you have received written confirmation from us.
1.2. Payment methods will be outlined at the time of booking.
1.3. If paying by deposit, the balance must be paid by the date stated in your confirmation email. Failure to pay may result in your booking being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1. Your Cancellation:

  • More than 30 days before the Course start date: Full refund minus a £[X] administration fee.

  • 15–30 days before: 50% refund.

  • Less than 14 days before: No refund.

  • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place to another person at no extra cost, provided you notify us in writing at least 48 hours in advance.

2.2. Our Cancellation:

  • If we cancel the Course for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid.

  • We are not responsible for any other costs you may incur (e.g., travel, accommodation).

2.3. Non-Attendance:

  • Failure to attend the Course without prior notice will result in the full fee being forfeited.

3. Transfers & Rescheduling

3.1. If you wish to transfer to a different Course date, requests must be made in writing:

  • More than 30 days before your original Course date: No fee.

  • Less than 30 days before: Treated as a cancellation (see Section 2).

4. Course Content & Changes

4.1. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the Course content, schedule, or venue where necessary.
4.2. Any significant changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

5. Your Responsibilities

5.1. You must arrive on time and participate respectfully.
5.2. You agree to follow all health & safety guidelines provided by us or the venue.
5.3. If your behaviour is disruptive or unsafe, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without refund.

6. Health & Wellbeing

6.1. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally able to participate in the Course.
6.2. Please inform us in advance of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs.
6.3. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless caused by our negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All Course materials (including recordings, slides, handouts, and written content) are protected by copyright and remain the property of [Your Business Name].
7.2. You may not copy, reproduce, or share materials without prior written consent.

8. Liability

8.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
8.2. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Course.

9. Force Majeure

9.1. We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, illness, strikes, pandemics).
9.2. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule or provide credit towards a future Course.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
10.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
